We offer all natural mulches including a finely ground root/bark mulch, a courser hardwood mulch, and certified playground mulch.  This year we have added a high quality black dyed mulch based on fresh bark.  Unlike dyed mulches made from waste wood (old pallets, etc.), this premium black mulch is bio-degradable. 

Decorative stone also offers a alternative to mulch for an entirely different look.

We also offer a superior grade of screened topsoil enriched to prevent clumping as well as mushroom soil in season. Available in both bulk and bags, topsoil is almost a requirement for planting given the poor quality soil in eastern Pennsylvania (as noted above.)

When dry, it is extremely hard but when wet it pulls the mulch or decorative stone down into the soil. Separation fabric also maintains the integrity of the ground cover preventing this “disappearing act.” Weed-barrier fabric is available in a variety of colors.
